Signals and Signs of Community Health - 1110 Words

Introduction There are many signals and signs of community health needs that appear to be difficult to notice for many health professionals. Recognizing community symptoms of disease is an important step in preventing and treating the health conditions of those who need help the most. Community health assessments are valuable tools that can be applied to a medical practice, health and wellness centers and towards the general health knowledge of society. The purpose of this essays is to provide a community health assessment for my community. Within this assessment I will introduce the report and provide important and pertinent demographical data and information about the community. Next I will report the findings of a windshield survey completed in the area. Using the data, I will present the main problem that the information has revealed. Included in the report will be a historical review to tie any significant facts together about the past problems contributing to the present. Final ly, I will summarize the problem and by identifying the population at risk for this problem and the direct and indirect factors that are leading to the issue.
